Dreams to Reality Receives United Way Membership and Grant
Dreams to Reality is excited to announce it’s acceptance as a member agency with United Way and $5,000 grant. “This has the potential to ensure the future viability of Dreams to Reality far into the future,” says board member Faye Zumwalt.
The United Way provides grants and membership opportunities to local agencies and programs providing services in Central Missouri.
Dreams to Reality relies mainly on donations; the grant money will go to the greatest need, even operational costs.
Dreams to Reality is proud to have served over 400 women and with the backing of the United Way, it will be able to serve many more to come.
Dream Night
The first annual Dream Night in the Tropics November 10, 2007 was a huge success! Over 500 women enjoyed the eclectic mixture of all things fun for women in one place, for one ticket price. Three lucky women were winners of our major door prizes. The first prize, was a trip for two to the Mall of America donated by Great Southern Tiger Travel. Air fare and hotel were included in this shopping extravaganza prize. Second prize was a beautiful gold peridot ring designed and donated by Kas A Designs. The third prize was a weekend for two to Lodge of the Four Seasons, including 2 Swedish massages. Dozens of other great door prizes were given away while guests were treated to luxury spa treatments, a fashion show and lots of shopping opportunities.
Stay tuned for Dream Night in Hollywood, which will be held November 22, 2008 at Truman Hotel. There will be more booths, more fun, more snacks, and much more room to have fun in!
