SUPPORTING DREAMS TO REALITY - Professional Business Clothing and Accessories Guidelines:
All donations of professional business attire and accessories must be interview-ready, meaning they can be immediately worn on a job interview when donated.
Due to our limited storage, Dreams to Reality Boutique gratefully accepts the following in-season and in current style professional women business clothing on hangars.
What we need:
- conservative two-piece business suits (especially in 1X – 8X sizes)
- two-piece business slack suits (especially in Plus-sizes)
- business maternity
- neutral blouses (spotless)
- professional dresses
- medical scrubs (especially in Plus-sizes)
- separates:
- blazers
- dress slacks (w/o elastic)
- dress skirts (w/o elastic)
Business-wear accessories:
- closed-toe conservative shoes (2” heels or less)
- conservative boots (winter months only)
- nursing footwear
- neutral handbags & briefcases
- new unopened sheer hosiery – especially queen sizes and all skin colors
- knee-length hosiery and trouser socks in all sizes and skin colors
- new undergarments – all sizes of bras and slips
- scarves
- new simple make-up items for all skin tones
- personal travel-size toiletries
- business attire jewelry (gold, silver, pearls, etc)
Dreams to Reality Boutique clothing acceptance information:
Clothing donations are received on the Saturday of each month between the hours of 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Location: 512 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City, MO. Thank you in advance for your support.
What we do not accept:
Regretfully, Dreams to Reality Boutique cannot accept any clothing and accessories that are not professional in nature, including but not limited to:
- professional attire in bags
- evening or holiday attire
- white or bright colored hosiery
- sleepwear
- sport or casual clothing such as jeans, shorts, or fleece garments
- used items such as cosmetics, undergarments, and/or hosiery
- men’s and children’s clothing
Income Tax Receipts:
All donations are tax deductible. We do not need an itemized listing of your donations since it is the donor’s responsibility for his or her personal tax records. Receipts are available.
