We moved!
Relocated to 512 Jefferson Street
We are excited to announce that have moved our operations to 512 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City. Our thanks goes out to Central Bank, SEMCO, and WAVECO who made the move possible. We also want to thank all the volunteers who helped with the move and especially Lois and Danny who did so much!
The new Dream Store is larger, brighter, and is the perfect place for a “shopping” trip for Dreams to Reality job seekers. Of course all the clothing is free of charge to the clients. However the Personal Image Consultant volunteers and the store displays make each woman feel like she is shopping in a high-end boutique. The new store makes it possible to add scrubs to our inventory to serve another large group of women with work clothing for their clinical jobs.
Clothing donations are still accepted the first Saturday of every month, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Take a tour of the new store while you are there!

Looking professional in scrubs
Dreams to Reality now serves clinical workers
We are happy to announce that we will now be helping women get a start toward work and financial independence by providing the uniform required in many clinical settings, scrubs.
Cheri Chockley of Metro Business Colleges brought the need to the Board’s attention. Last fall the board paused for strategic planning and decided that this was a need that was in synch with our mission and values.
Jane Monaghan, a Jefferson City Girl Scout was awarded her Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting, for leading this project. She wanted to do a project that would benefit Dreams to Reality, and said “Yes!” to initiating our scrubs services.
Angela Stansbury at Alliance Medical (AllMed) donated dozens of brand new scrubs pieces that were stock remaining at end of season. We could not have stocked our initial inventory without them.
